Marine Outfalls Environmental Monitoring Programme - City of Cape Town

Infinity Environmental was appointed by the City of Cape Town to prepare an environmental monitoring plan for the three offshore marine wastewater outfalls. Working with marine scientists from Anchor Environmental, we prepared a comprehensive, first-of-its-kind monitoring programme to monitor the effects of the outfalls on water quality, sediment, ecology, and marine life. The plan was approved by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment and will be implemented from 2024.
